I am running Windows XP SP3 on an HP Pavilion a1430n
It's always been working fine and I've never had any problems. Now if I let the computer sit for a while and the screen goes to black like that sort of "sleep" mode. I move the mouse to continue what I was doing and the screen stays black and I have to hold the power button to restart my computer to fix it.
Please help

Disable all power saving features, and see, if same thing happens.

I just disabled everything. I'll let it sit and see what happens.
Thank you for the help.

Those features have been ongoing Windows pain, so if it's not laptop, it's better to stay away from them.
