Rshaffer and Broni, does this:

GPU 68 °C (154 °F)

look too hot for a GPU?

I agree that space will need to be freed on your hard disk, and Broni's command will speed your computer up.

Also, update your video card driver.

When installing the driver, make sure that you disable any real-time malware or AV protection. This can interfere with the driver configuring itself properly.

Broni, your command worked. I also made some more space. Could replaceing that .dll let me turn back on media preview wthout the crashing?

Very well then :)
There is nothing wrong with that dll.
In general, there is no reason to have media preview on in case of video files.
No matter how good your computer specs are, Explorer will try to read a whole video file (which are usually pretty big), and you'll always experience either big delay, or some crash, like in your case.
It's fine to have preview on in case of graphic files.

But now, you must pay attention to what rshaffer61 said about your low free disk space.
You need to free some space on your hard drive. Moving those video files somewhere else, would be a good start.

:) :)
External drive would be a great option for those video files.
Also any rarely used programs or ones that you no longer need can be uninstalled.
Let us know what you would like to do and we can assist so that there is less of a chance for a problem arising. After you have freed up space then we will do some maintenance to help straighten system out and keep it running smoothly. :)

When you have more space, and you want to try to turn media preview back on, you run this command:
regsvr32 shmedia.dll

That's very bare minimum. You need to free more space.

You should be fine for a while, but you need to do some planning....buying bigger drive, getting an external hard drive, etc.

Okay I found a large file (over 11GB) that I could get rid of. I'm up to 38% now. So about this maintenance shaffer is speaking of.

BTW, what was that 11GB file?
I hope, you didn't remove anything important.
