Ok so i got this crappy webcam from walmart like 4 years ago. i have NO idea what kind of webcam it is it has no markings i gently opened it and theres nothin on the inside to indicate the make or model all it says is "PC CAMERA (CIF)" and under tahts RoHS......anyone?

A Google Search came up with these links.

This is close, but driver may work for yours.

This one had RoHS in its description.

4 pages of webcams with pictures.

RoHS seems just a certification.

2 pages of webcams made in China with images.

Possibly a generic web cam driver will work.

awesome thanks for the help but i found that the tesco webcam driver works. im pretty sure its a generic webcam driver.

You're welcome. That's what I thought as I said about the generic drivers. Some of the better web cams need their own drivers as they have additional functions you can manipulate. Glad you got it going and thank you for using GTG.
