I have an ASUS G50 laptop. And one day a few months ago my integrated camera started acting weird. Its image quality is really messed up it is offcenter to my left, its right.... like the pictures it takes... I'll give you some before and after. What can I do to fix it? All drivers are up to date. I tried using old drivers too and that didn't work. I think a cable on the inside might be loose, but that's my opinion. What is yours?

Let's check to make sure the device is working or not. Please follow the next steps.

Please Go to
1: START and the click on RUN
2: Type in devmgmt.msc
3: Click Enter
4. Look for any entries with Yellow Exclamation marks or Red X's

In your next reply please include those results

Nope no ! or X's in device manager. I checked that before, and I double checked again, and there was nothing.

It is your video card. I will try and help you get a potential update for it. Issues like that do not pop up out of the blue, unless the video card needs an update. I need some hardware information about your system.

Please download and install EVEREST
Open it.
1: In left pane expand Computer folder.
2: Click once on Summary
3: In upper menu, go Report
4: And then to Quick Report-Summary
5: Save it in text file, and paste it in your next post.

DO NOT INCLUDE ANYTHING UNDER THE LINE THAT SAYS "DEBUG- PCI"
