Test it here: http://acid3.acidtests.org/
State your browser, and browser's version.

I used here Firefox 3.5 beta 4:

I've heard, it's suppose to be fast.

Then, I don't want to crack a joke, but this is from my IE8:

Maybe, they shouldn't release half-ready product, like they often do?
Number of people are having problems with IE8.

I don't use it except when I need. It is pretty secure and I like the smart screen filter, but it just isn't anything special. I use chrome, safari and firefox all the time. The new opera is great to.

Some people... I think almost everybody uses it including my mom. She can't possibly make the switch. Here computer is so slow chrome would be nice but after her using IE forever a switch doesn't come easy.

If you have FF 3.5 beta 4, they just released FF 3.5 Preview update (Help>Check for updates). Just installed it.
RC is expected tomorrow.

Thanks Broni :)

I put Chrome on the back burner, I may try to use it more. The FF add-ons keep me coming back. I don't mind giving up an almost unnoticeable amount of speed for the custimization of FF.

I cant believe IE is such a dog. I thought it was much improved from the previous version

Just checked IE6 on Win 2K:

Just so everyone knows... Acid3 is not a speed test. It simply sees how well the browser can follow certain web standards. It also tests some things which are in drafts of the CSS3 specifications, but aren't official yet.

Anyways, there is already a table on wikipedia which shows how well each browser does on Acid3 with default settings.

Maybe, they shouldn't release half-ready product, like they often do?

How can you criticize IE if you haven't used it? IE8 is much improved over previous versions, to the point where I haven't been compelled to install Firefox to use instead. :)
