I know almost nothing about computers, but I was told I need more RAM and a new graphics card. These are the graphics cards I'm looking at:

ATI Radeon™ series
9500, 9600, 9800
X300, X600, X700, X800, X850
X1300, X1600, X1800, X1900, X1950
2400, 2600, 2900
3450, 3650, 3850, 3870
4850, 4870

Where can I get this stuff? What websites have them cheap, but they work well? :)
If anyone replies, please dumb down responces... :)

Your computer has:
Memory: 502MB RAM
It's almost a miracle, Vista runs on it.
Vista runs well with 2GB of RAM, and your computer RAM can be upgraded to this amount:
http://www.crucial.c.....ario SR5010NX

Card name: Intel® 82945G Express Chipset Family
This is on-board video chip, and you need real video card.
Most newer cards support Pixel Shader.
Just get a card with 512MB RAM, and you'll be good to go.

well get at least 2gb of ram and im sure an ati 3650 can play sims 3 with ease but how much money are you willing to spend because i would just save up for the ati 4850 0r 4870 and get 4gb of ram so u wont have to worry about upgrading later.
The best website to use is Newegg.com
