Hey all, i have Logitechs i bought from walmart for $70 several years ago, and they are truly exceptional speakers for how much i paid for them, but i believe ive kinda worn them out and i want something better. I wanted to get some suggestions on really clear loud computer speakers (hopefully that dont cost more then my computer ) and also a good sound card for a custom build pc

i have a pioneer quadraphonic amplifier plugged into my sound card with a 3.5 mm jack to twin audio cable plus a set of 4 normal hi-fi speakers - if you have a hi-fi lying around then maybe its an idea,

i have a cheapo soundcard but with a pc based graphic equaliser (i use the one in winamp in my windows) combined with the amp the sound is amazing
