cannot record my voice

i installed dragon naturally speaking 10 and in a voice test it told me volume is to low i then went to audacity and tried recording my voice
silence
is it a driver issue

Since the 1st driver couldn't install, try the 2nd one on the same link.

Sorry for not giving the right link.
Go here: http://support.asus....SLanguage=en-us
Then in the download box on the left, type in p5v800-mx in the "Input Model to Search" and click on Search Info.
Then, click on the motherboard found.
Choose your Windows OS version, and click on Search.
Then expand the audio folder by clicking on the little + sign.
Then click on Global, and download the driver. Unzip the downloaded file, and install the driver.
