I have noticed during the past couple of weeks that when I conduct a Google search and click on one of the results in the list that I'm taken to another site.

I read the post at http://www.geekstogo...ack-t46013.html

I have AVG Internet Security Small Business Edition Version 8.5364 - I've also noticed that I cannot update my virus definitions and my spyware. I downloaded a manual update and the version number changed, but the virus definitions and spyware are still showing up out of date.

I also cannot connect to my administrative console for AVG from my PC as the remote desktop connection isn't working like it use to.

So - I put the latest version of AVG on my PC and ran a scan in Safe Mode here is the log from the scan:

So you can see my virus database hasn't been updated since April 30, 2009. You will note that the 3 infections are contained in an old archive email file.

I also ran a Hijack This log and while I'm not an expert I didn't see anything blaring. The log is posted below:

The redirects that I'm experiencing are just an inconvenience, but I'd like to correct the problem. If I don't reply immediately, it's because of my schedule here at work.

Thank you for your assistance.
