hey...
i think i downloaded the wrong file cause i try to follw the instructions but the fil on the cd is dfferent than those on the instructions
i downloaded the ubcd.iso not the testdisk file right?

Download the ubcd.iso file and burn it to a disc using BurnCDCC. Boot from the disc and navigate the menus till you find TestDisk... then run it. Then the instructions should make sense.

I found this...

wiping tools
cloning tools

which one do I choose?

after I clicked diagnostic tools there is a list of different tests
none of them are testdisk

When the 1st menu comes up, select Filesystem Tools.
Then select Partition Tools.
Then select Partition Tools.
