computer running very slow, especially videos...

Hi, thanks for helping me! I noticed about a week ago that my computer was running slower than usual, especially when it comes to streaming video. I tried to watch a moviefone.com clip just now and its about a second or so lag, so the video plays but it's pausing every 3 secs. or in slowmo. Overall though, Chrome is still running smoothly, loading without waiting too long. Video is the main delay. McAfee hasn't picked up anything; neither has SpyEraser. Yesterday I tried running Kaspersky's scan through safemode, and 4 hours later it was 3% complete. I need help/suggestions. Thanks!!
