security warning when using browser

Hi folks,I keep getting this security warning everytime I use the internet.I am using firefox.the warning is "Although this page is encrypted,the information you have entered is to be sent over an unencrypted connection and could easily be read by a third party" then it asks if I want to continue.Not sure if this is serious or not but it is sure new to me.If I can provide any more info please let me know,thanks.

Hi,just in case anyone else runs into this problem,this is what I did to fix it.I had to open firefox in safe mode and then I set everything back to default and all seems well now.Hope this helps someone.Cheers.
