cannot access microsoft/antivirus sites

Hi all, I cannot access microsoft or antivirus sites though I can successfully access other sites. I thought it was the conficker worm and removed it with the Microsoft WIndows Malicious SOftware Removal Tool but to no avail. Please help.

I downloaded the Removal Tool via another website FYI.

Edit: I also used Malwarebytes Anti-Malware but it cannot be updated. Used ComboFix but I still cannot access ANY Microsoft or ANtivirus sites.
