Wireless Network Connection

So today i turned on my laptop and sumthing in the corner flashed up at me and said that it had connected to a Wireless Network.
So I had a look closer and it said:
Wireless Network Connection (Peer-to-Peer),
Speed: 11.0 Mbps,
Signal Stength: Low,
Status: Connected.

It tells me that the network is called CLA1. So I was wondering what can i do with it and what is it? Also I was wondering if i can use it to connect to the internet and how?

Are you supposed to be on another wireless network? Maybe one that is your own? From what you've said it sounds like a random network that maybe your neighbor has setup or something. I wouldn't advise using theirs.
