I was trying to test a cpu in my working computer. I put the cpu that I didn't know if it worked in the pc. I turned on the pc and it ran through the bios and then turned off. I looked to see what could have happen and seen that I had forget to plug in the cpu fan. So I plugged in the fan and tried again. I turned on the pc and the pc fan comes on, the harddrive light comes on, and the cd drives will open, but there is nothing on the screen. I hooked the monitor up to my laptop and it works. So I put the cpu back in the pc that was orginally in it, and I have the same problem. Any sugggestions on what my problem could be? Thanks for the help!
