<_< I have an old IBM 300GL computer which had windows NT installed on it. I have formatted the hard drive so i can install win 98 or Me, but the installation stalls after the scan disk. Do I need an IBM recovery disk or is there a way i can install windows directly. I have both win98 and winMe cds and boot disks. Thanks :D

Hi Teeq
Welcome to geekstogo
what you need to do is boot up off a windows 98 bootdisk type format c: then after the format type setup then you should be able to install your windows I would use win98 not ME. ME is is not as good as windows 98.
