Ok, so I want to build a decent gaming PC.
This is what I currently want:

I'm wondering if these are good choices and if everything is compatible.
Do you think the CPU fan will fit?
The case doesn't tell me much info, so do you think the Case Fan will work with the Case?
Is Plextor a good choice?
How exactly do I apply Cooling compound?
What are nits?
Can I attach more connectors to my Power Supply?
On a scale of 1 - 10 how difficult is it to install a motherboard? (I'll want SLI in the future)

Thanks All, Your help is really appreciated.

(I know I'm missing the OS)

Everything is compatible as most of it is in a kit so you know it will work. As for the CPU fan it may or may not fit as the barebones kit already has a case included that's why I normally suggest getting the case you really want. Before you buy this kit go out and pick out all the parts separately and see if its cheaper or more and it does not have to be the same exact items.

As for the Harddrive its a good choice and you are in Canadian dollars but I know newegg has a samsung 500gb for $49.99 us dollars as I used 2 of them within 2 weeks.
Also the plextor dvd burner is more than the normal price I'd pay or pick for customers. I usually go for the samsung or LG / sometimes Asus for 1/2 the price $25-$34 us dollars from newegg.

Ok, so plextor isn't really a good choice, yeah I thought so, I rather just go with a samsung or LG then.

Also, so if the 80mm fan won't work then do you have an idea what will work?

80 mm case fan should be fine and work as 80mm is the default size for most cases, I was talking about the CPU fan that you picked out as it might be to big and hit something on the mobo due to the locations of certain objects and if the case is smaller it could possibly hit an object on the case itself. example the power supply bracket above.

Everything looks fine like I said just try and look everything over and it would not hurt to look at buying all parts separately and not in a barebones KIT.

Yeah, its hard to find a decent sized CPU fan.
