====================================
One day while using my PC,(while playing some game is guess) suddenly the volume icon in the taskbar disappeared. So when i went to sound and audio devices in the Control panel i found out that the volume has been greyed out and it says "No Audio Device"...
i was using Sound Blaster Live sound card with Cambridge Soundworks 4 satellite speakers for the past many years but it is not showing it now...also if i remove my SB Live sound card from the motherboard and connect it again my PC hangs on the startup windows logon screen..(i tried it 5 - 6 times but my machine does not start)
I also tried to connect my speakers through my onboard sound (i.e. Realtek AC97)..it detects it on startup but in the add hardware wizard while installing realtek the PC crashes & i get a blue screen with message : Dumping 1...2...3
this is been happening many times and i am really worried for the past few dayz...(Life without sound really sukz guyz)
somebody plz help
thank you!!
