The following shows at bootup



The instrution at 0x00390671 referenced at 0x00390671 The memory could not be written

Also log on to windows username and password are unknown

Please any help would be welcome Thanks Jim :)

Hi Bluesboy2000,

That error normally indicates some sort of malware infection or failing hardware.

Are you able to boot the system into safe mode?


-=To access safe mode=-

Press the F8 at startup until you are presented with the Advanced Options menu.

Using the keyboard, navigate to safe mode > press the enter key twice.


If the system can access safe mode we can continue to troubleshoot the computer.
