Win 95 games on xp system

Hi,

I have a Dell XPS with win xp installed and I am trying to install and run some older games from my old computer. They install and run in win 95 mode but I can't seem to get them to recognize my joystick. It is just a logitech attack 3. For such simple games and hardware I don't understand the problem. The games are:

Hellbender
Jet Fighter III

Anyone with experience in this area have any ideas?
