We can definitely help you, but first you need to help us. The first step in this process is to apply Service Pack 1a for Windows XP. Without this update, you're wide open to re-infection, and we're both just wasting our time.
Apply the update, reboot, and post a fresh Hijack This log.

I tried downloading the service pack from the link but I got an error when trying to download the file, so right now I'm waiting for the service techs to e-mail me back to tell me the problem. I will reply when I get the update. Thanks

Click Start.
Choose Run.
In the Run box, type

regsvr32.exe wuaueng.dll

Click OK.

then start > run
regedit.exe

navigate to the key
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\wuauserv

If you find a DeleteFlag value there on the right side, right click it and choose delete

Reboot, try windows update again

OK, the update is installing now, it's taking a little while, it's on 7 of 18 updates right now. I need to do it for this computer too.

It's not really an error message, it just says "Updates were unable to be successfully installed" the following updates were not installed: Security Update for Windows XP (KB835732)

Hope that helps
