The machine shuts down as soon as I connect to the Internet or local network. I have run as many spyware programs as I can find and none of them find anything of significance. I have run the blaster patch, the sasser and blaster removal tools, and made sure my virus updates are current. I can't connect to windows update to load SP2. I keep getting a notice about a Jereid BHO and nails.exe but they never go away even if the spyware tool says they have been removed.
Current settings have home edition version 2002, Norton version 9.02 and virus def from 5/4/2005. Here is my hijack log: Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated as I am tired of jacking arond with this PC as it is obvious I have no clue what's going on!!
