Please help me. I have no idea what's wrong with my computer. When I start it up it start right if I keep moving the mouse, but if I stop it freezes. Also when I move the mouse the lights on the keyboard flash. The mouse won't click. It hasn't let us open the internet on my dad's profile for a while now but now it won't on any of the profiles. I instaled a program that was made to stop spyware and things like that but I thought I was going to fix the bugs. As a last resouce we will reformat the whole thing. Please just help me.

It's a dell and we do have the cd but it won't boot it up. It was the program they use at my school on all of the computers.

What kind of security protection did you have before AVG?
Is the computer operable in Safe Mode?
