Hello . I am new to the computer world and have the following question . A friend gave me his old computer he was going to throw out . He told me he erased the hard drive . I put the hard drive back in and hooked up the monitor (which works on another computer ) but it reads no signal . The fan is running and thats all I know . Does the hard drive need to be loaded first or what ? Can someone help . Thanks , Mike
