as of late, I've had a variety of problems with my HP laptop, and I honestly don't know where the source is. The most recent (and annoying) is that the "Remove Hardware Safely" logo keeps showing up in the system tray, then disappearing, then repeating, etc. This almost always only happens when I am running Internet Explorer.
I tried running Mozilla for a while, but it would send the computer completely on the fritz. I've used the geekstogo forum before to fix some virus issues on my mom's laptop and remember having to use hijackthis, so I've done that for mine and included the details here. I'm not sure if it's of any use.
Further to this, the computer frequently sends me into blue screen crashes and has now begun to run very, very slowly. When running a Performance and Reliability check, it said the CPU was operating at 84%, when I was doing virtually nothing with the computer.
