Okay it started when my dad cleaned my PC because it was so dusty inside. When I opened the computer there was this message about Sonic Focus missing or unable to start and I have no sounds up to now so I googled it and they said to update or to reinstall my hardware so I followed some instructions to uninstall my Intel Audio Studio then I tried installing it again using my CD and it always fails.

Im using SP3 I found this windows update about intel audio hardware installation. (it said I need to have it so I can install my Intel Audio Studio but it cant install because it said I don't need it because I had a better Service Pack already)

When I go to my audio settings its all gray I cant click any thing.

I have problem installing AUD_allOS_D20001.0x_PV_IDTGUI_v105_Legacy and Sigmatel Audio Driver v5.10.5067.0

You need to install the MOBO chipset again.
Boot into Safe Mode and then uninstall audio drivers
Reboot and install MOBO chipset and audio drivers in that order.
Then let us know how it works.

Surely, Windows updates, including service packs, should be always kept up to date.
As for audio driver, unzip downloaded 82801DB_DBM_DA_AC97.zip file, right click on oem34.inf file, click Install.
Restart computer.

That's how .inf file installs. No confirmation.
Restart computer, and check for sound.
If still no sound, bring Windows updates up to date.

Do Windows updates say, your updates are current?
