I am unable to delete Azureus file, Xvid...

every time i try to get the file to delete, it states that the application is running and i'm unable to delete it. i've tried shutting it off using the task manager, but when i pull up the file to delete it, the app is running dialog pops up again. also, i noticed that in the task manager under the processes tab there is an azureus.exe*32 even after i've closed the application by clicking end task. any assistance with this issue would be awesome...i'm not trying to be difficult, by if you could give step by step instructions that would be even better. thank you
