Hi all,

This isn't a major problem... just very annoying.

I installed IE8 several months ago and I can't seem to solve this problem. When I launch internet explorer it takes me to the internet explorer welcome page, not my default browser. This occurs every time I launch.

Once I'm at the welcome page I can click the home icon and it directs me to my home page and its all good...

I've tried to go to Tools (and the home icon) and reset the home page to my default but its already there. I've also tried to reinstall IE8 but that didn't help. (by the way, I tried to uninstall ie8 and reinstall ie6 but microsoft wouldn't let me... b/c 6 is older than 8!?)

I have XP

I've also ran mcafee, spybot, and adware which did not detect any problems

Can you help.

Thanks,

JFA
