I have a PC with a standard VGA output that I want to connect to my HDTV. I bought a cable with a VGA connections on both ends and an adapter that goes from VGA to DVI to connect the cable to the TV. However, the adapter's male connection has extra pins on either side of the single wide pin while as my TD DVI connection was the wide pin without the addtional connecting pins. Do I need new cableing or can I get an adapter that will work?
