Hi there

I am using a MAC OSX, and I have intego and macscan installed. However, for the lwast three weeks I have not been able to use google or youtube. Safari says:

Safari can't open the page "http://www.google.co...londe&ie=UTF-8" because it could not connect to server "www.google.com"

I have tried using firefox and I get the same message, I can't use gmail either. :).

Please help!

Thanks

maybe ur ISP DNS servers not working right or you have a virus plus your isp is sht,

what i would do

run Windows Defender , or some other virus killer tool

after that get your windows XP cd or vista cd put in drive, and click on start / run

now type sfc /scannow this is system file checker ! if something is changed and not from xp CD it will be replaced.

after this, go into your conenction settings under DNS - and change your isp dns to http://www.opendns.com/

now your xp should be running pretty fine !

oh could also be a issue with the hostfile ! read here more http://www.mvps.org/...p2002/hosts.htm

this is great little filehost ! blocks all the rubbish from everywebsite, advertisments etc
