OK. You were seriously infected, but things seems to be fixed.
Any new BSODs lately?
Go Start>Run ("Start Search" in Vista), type in:
sfc /scannow
Click OK (hold CTRL, and SHIFT, hit Enter in Vista).
Have Windows CD/DVD handy.
If System File Checker (sfc) will find any errors, it may ask you for the CD/DVD (rarely in Vista case).
If sfc won't find any errors in Windows XP, it'll simply quit, without any message.

It looks like your computer have some serious problems (it was also your malware guy opinion).
We don't yet what it is, system files, hardware problem...so we have to start somwhere.
You can always start sfc. If at some point, it'll ask you for CD, then we'll at least know, system file problem is one of the culprits.
At the same time, call around. Some friend may have Windows CD, and borrowed CD will do.

My nephew is going to burn a copy for me tonight, it will be tomorrow morning before I get the disc. I has the blue screen 2x while in malware but it is gone now. You guys are really great. I can't thank you all enough. Hey, on start up the delay time was a bit faster.

Hi, I have the recovery disk now and went to slipstreamed, however I cannot find where service pack 3 is on my computer. How do I find it?? The disk has Xp media center version 2005 with update rollup 2.. I am totally lost. How do I copy this disc to the folder in the harddrive, then where is XP-SP3 and how do I extract and place in folder on HD, after this the rest should be easy. Thanks
