Hi

I seem to have acquired a piece of malware that judging by your site and others is some version of antivirus2009. It runs a fake-looking security check then advises me to buy or continue.

I've downloaded MBAM and Stopzilla (having read various advice on the web), but am getting dialogue boxes popping up that prevent me from running them. i've deleted a few new files with "system security" type names,

I have VirusScan Enterprise but think it's expired.

If I can first get some advice on how to get Mbam or other to run properly, i'll come back and post the logs etc.

Thanks!

Brendan
