I was attempting to perform a system restore using the VPRMatrix/Insignia restore disk and ran into a massive problem. The system restore process went smoothly (so I thought) until it came time to reboot the computer. It will restart, come to the Windows XP splash screen, then an System Log error will pop-up telling me the Windows Registry Failed to Update. System will shut down now. Contact the Manufacturer for solution. I've tried reformatting but the BIOS seems to skip over "booting from disk" section and goes straight to the Splash Screen. My monitor goes into sleep mode, so I can never see whats going on before it gets to the splash screen.
