I have internet explorer XP home edition version 2002 service pack 3, on my Asus Eee PC. every time I try to get onto the internet I receive an error message. I can get my mail, so computer is connected to the internet but Xp isn't working. I have a repair disc but no CD drive in the computer. I have changed the restore dates several times but still no luck to restore the computer. Any help appreciated. Computer is only 9 months old.

Hi and welcome to Geeks to go.

Can you give us the exact error message you receive?
Have you installed any new software or any updates?

Please go to the following...
control panel
click on network connections.
Are you showing any "local area connections"?
If yes, is it enabled?
If no, right click and try repair.

Let us know how you make out.
