I got a new laptop recently and was trying to connect to the internet by using the Linksys on my home computer. I selected the network, entered the network key, and all seemed to be going well. When I was connected, though, I kept getting a bubble saying "windows was unable to find a certificate to log you on to the network". I searched Google for an answer, and found a detailed solution that worked for countless others. It told me to uncheck the "Enable IEEE 802. 1x authentication for this network" option under the network's properties. Once I got to the screen to uncheck it at, however, the whole thing was greyed out. I tried finding another solution, but couldn't find anything, and now I have no clue what to do.
