Hello there I am new to GTG and i must say these
forums have helped me in the past with my computer


My computer just recovered from one of those XP log in/log off
loops and most of my stuff is there but the computer dosen't exactly
recognize them and right now i am trying to get my printer to install into
my computer. When i plug it in (USB Cord) it makes the USB Detection sound
twice. And then nothing....No Auto printer install or anything and please be
quick i have some essays and some stuff to print out

Have you tried re-installing the printer software before plugging in the usb connector, chances are the driver needs to be re-installed.
