when i go to turn on my firewalll, which i dont kno how it turned off it says windows firewall/internet connection service can not be started wut can i do?

no havent even downloaded anything...do u think i could redownload the firewall from the internet

You would be better using a third party firewall as XP Firewall only blocks incoming traffic

A popular choice of firewall is Zone Alarm from Zonelabs.

Choose the free download and keep selecting it throughout the install
