Hey guys, this all happened after a problem where the computer wouldn't get past loading windows, which may or may not have been a hardware problem, though, no, I think not.
Anyway, I loaded winodws XP in the restore way, and went through the installation. At one point it asked me to make my sign in name, not wanting to destroy my old log in (administrator) I put in a different one, Controller.
So I logged on and all is fine, anything that was on my desktop is gone, and in my documents, but I'm jsut happy to have the computer working.
However, when I change msconfig to start as safe mode, the computer asks me whether I would like to be administrator or controller. I discover that my stuff isnt lost, and that neither is administrator. But it doesn't aks me this in normal mode, and i cant log out and find him, or switch users.
So what has happened here, it appears admin is still alive, using up much of my hard drive to, but I can't find him.
