Windows 7 HD problem

I just bought a Hitachi terrabyte on newegg.com
and installed it.

The Device Manager says its installed properly.
But it doesn't show up at all.

Did I get a HD that was D.O.A?
Or is it something wrong with windows 7.

Please help asap.
