I have been having trouble with my desktop not connecting to the internet on a network that my laptop is able to connect to. I have reason to believe it is because of a trojan named WSAECMT that recently popped up in my task manager. I have tried to remove this thing but like most trojans they are difficult. Help please. I am running XP SP3. After downloading a malware remover called superspyware rev\mover or somnething liked that it found a number of issues that it managed to quarentine. After that the internet was able to connect but a look at the task manager showed the trojan still there. While the pc is able to connect I can tell the trojan is still causing havoc by slowing the pc down a great deal.
