mamaloney we can understand your frustration but cursing is not allowed as this is a family oriented site.
attitude will not get you any faster or more precise assistance.
Please understand that the suggestions we give are based on past experiences with similar problems and the resolutions to those issues.
Since the issue as you have stated only happens in the game then we naturally are going to look at the game.
Starting with post #13 and till now you have made it plainly clear it is only in the game.
Please do the following and include the results in your next reply.
Go to Start and then to Run and Type in dxdiag and then click Enter
At the bottom of the System page click on Save All Information
Save As a Text file and save to Desktop.Include this file with your next reply.
On the DirectX Files tab, check at the bottom of the window for any problem notes.
On the Display Tab click the
Test DirectDraw button and wait for the results.
Then click the Test Direct3D button and wait for the results.
In your next reply include results of each of the above steps.

Download Audacity: http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
Install it, and launch the program. Record something, and them save it as a mp3. Then play it back with WMP... does the audio sound ok?

This doesn't happen in any other game, right?
