Weird, annoying sound

when i alt+tab out of applications(usually games) i will do whatever i needed to do, then ill try and get back in the app and the app closes for not responding, and then the last sound that it made is constantly looping through the speakers/my headphones. i dont know what is causing this, but the best i can get is how loud it is from my asus software through a screenshot.
