help,the program file on my drive c is gone...

yesterday when i scanned my pc,using AVG, it says, virus identified Worm/VB.EPA on C:\Program Files.exe as well as on the other 2 folders that i am always working on everyday-both on drive c and another folder on my drive d...when i clicked on the "heal all selected infections" button,the anti virus would just delete the folders..another thing is eventhough the program file folder was lost,all the programs on my pc are still working well..is it possible to get back those folders again?what should i do?...i hope u can help me...i really need to restore those folders...thanks a lot!
