cant connect to the internet

Is this a laptop or a desktop?
What browser are you using? IE, Firefox, chrome,etc?
Do you show ant network/Lan connections in Network settings? Go to start/control panel/ network settings.
I want to see if you are missing anything in device management. Go to start/ run and type in devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
Do you see any ? or ! or unknowns in your devices? If yes, what are they?
