cant connect to the internet

please help i cant connect to the internt using my providers cable but can get connect on wifi but its not mine dnt know who is looking at what im doig called my provider said i dnt have lan drivers how do i sort this out

Hi Maku and welcome to Geeks to go.

Is this a laptop or a desktop?
What browser are you using? IE, Firefox, chrome,etc?
Do you show ant network/Lan connections in Network settings? Go to start/control panel/ network settings.

I want to see if you are missing anything in device management. Go to start/ run and type in devmgmt.msc and hit enter.
Do you see any ? or ! or unknowns in your devices? If yes, what are they?
