1. hey i just want to know how to get the photo on the side of the blog/forum

2, how to upload photos!!!

Hi and welcome. For future reference, your questions would be better off in the Site Orientation and FAQ section of the forum.

Nonetheless, the "picture on the side" is what's called an avatar. If you open your "My Controls" you'll find a whole bunch of options down the left, one of which is to deal with your avatar. There is a whole library included where you can choose your own, or you can upload your own as long as it fits the size requirements.
