DVD Hardware

Bought a replacement DVD-RW internal drive. System requiremetns are CPU: Pentium IV 2.4GHz or higher (recommended 3.2GHz or higher). MY CPU is: AMD XP 3000 2.17 GHz.

If I install will it work or should I return to store and replace with drive that meets specs?
