I have 2 PCs connected through a router - one desktop and a laptop (both connected through a lan cable). They are in the same workgroup. I have successfully been able to share a couple of folders to each other. But lately, I decided to partition desktop drive and completely share the new partition (D:) to the laptop. The laptop managed to see the shared partition but can not access it. It says "You do no have permission to access \\Desktopname\PartitionName." But I set my partition to share to everyone. I even allowed read/write, full control on. All my other shared folders are still working.

Any help will do. thanks guys.
