i keep getting this message (program: c:\program files\microsoft office\office10\winword.exe) when i open microsoft word and do not save it immediately. once the message pops up, i have to shut down and reopen word in recovery mode (i think that is what it is called). is there something i can do to prevent this problem? any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi hollijo. What is the exact and full error message? Does it specify a file?
It sounds like perhaps an add-in isn't playing nice-nice with Word. Check this link: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/555220. If you can start Word with no add-ins and it works fine, then we need to locate the specific add-in that's messed up.
