hello,

my computer had been infected by some spyware that directs my internet explorer to quicknavigate.com, as well as inundate my computer with popups

since then, i've been trying to remove manually all seemingly harmful files (incl. popuper.exe, intmon.exe, shnlog.exe, etc), which of course wasn't always successful

a couple of days ago, i luckily stumbled onto this geeks to go site, and have been following other ppl's topics that seemed to discuss the same problem as mine, as well as follow all the directions for malware suspicion as outlined on this website (downloaded ad-aware, spybot, TDS, etc)

i think i've done everything that i'm supposed to, but there still seems to be something fishy going on in my computer that i can't resolve (as you can tell by my choice of words, i'm not very competent when it comes to dealing with computers so i don't really have any idea as to what's going on anyways)
