First windows explore to Windows\System32\Restore... and see if the file rstrui.exe is there and double click to see if it works, if it does then proceed to the next instructions. Under All Programs..Accessories...System Tools... Right click any item in there and "Create Shortcut". Then right click the short cut to display properities..Then edit the path to Windows\System32\Restore\rstrui.exe...Then under General Tab rename to System Restore. Now click the short cut and your system restore should work, jja
